Ben graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in December 2018 with an undergraduate Master’s in Urban Planning (Mplan). As part of this degree pathway, Ben spent an Erasmus year at Radboud University in the Netherlands with a focus on European Planning practices.
Fresh from University, Ben joined TSA Planning in November 2019. Ben has enjoyed assisting the team with a host of duties including undertaking site background checks, preparation of planning applications for submission, tracking applications and liaising with the planning office and other statutory bodies – all to ensure the smooth progression of applications through the planning system.
Ben is interested in a wide range of planning topics but has a particular interest in sustainable transport planning and connectivity. Ben is keen to advance his practical planning know-how with TSA and is working to obtain Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.When not hard at work, Ben enjoys an occasional surf along the North Coast, and whenever possible, city breaks and ski trips!
